Dr. Castellucci meets Dr. Terauchi Dr. Arnaldo Castellucci. MD, DDS, Florence, Italy. The International Endodontic meeting "Terauchi Endo Days in Florence" is co-organized by Dr. Terauchi's colleague, partner and friend Dr. Arnaldo Castellucci. Dr. Terauchi and Dr. Castellucci have been working together for many years on mutual scientific projects in endodontics. It is a very special occasion that Dr. Castellucci is meeting Dr. Terauchi "at his home" in Florence, Italy organizing a major event. Since 1980, Dr. Castellucci has limited his activity as a dental specialist to the sole specialty of endodontics. Thanks to the rich clinical experience he acquired through the instruction he received while attending the Department of Endodontics, then under the chairmanship of Prof. Herbert Schilder, at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in the U.S, he was able to successfully pursue intense educational activity, as well as present lectures at both national and international congresses, becoming one of today's most cited endodontists worldwide. The Art of broken file removal. Latest update. by Dr. Yoshi Terauchi An instrument fracture is very frustrating. Instrument retrieval is even more frustrating and considered more challenging in endodontics than any other part of endodontic procedure. Although the success rates of instrument retrieval with ultrasonics alone are very high in the range of 80 to 90 %, ultrasonic retrieval attempts are deemed to be unpredictable in terms of time and dentin sacrifice. The disadvantages of traditional instrument removal techniques are excessive removal of dentin during trephine, which may result in perforation or predispose the tooth to vertical root fracture. Hence it is essential to maintain as much tooth structure as possible to prevent root fracture and perforation. During this meeting I will demonstrate my latest and unique techniques to make the instrument retrieval highly predictable. Registration --> |

Get-together dinner in Coco Lezzone Optional. Limited number of tickets. Florence is definitely a city for meat lovers: there are many specialties that attract foodies, but for sure meat is never missing in the menus. T-bone steak is one of the most famous dishes you may find almost everywhere in Florence, known simply as bistecca alla Fiorentina. The name refers to the particular cut of the meat. According to the "rules", a Fiorentina steak should be from the Chianina cow (a breed which comes from the Valdichiana in Tuscany). "Coco Lezzone" is one of the oldest and most popular restaurants of Florence where they cook probably the best Fiorentina in the city. And by the way, this is a really historical place for Dr. Castellucci as he used to dine here since he was a boy! Join us for the get-together closing dinner in Coco Lezzone with Dr. Terauchi and Dr. Castellucci on May 07, 2022. Registration --> |
