Ricardo Tonini D.D.S. graduated from dental school of University of Brescia (italy) in 2004. In 2007 he carried out his Master degree from university of Verona (italy) in Endodontics. Dr. Tomnini is a Gold member of StyleItaliano Endodontics.

His scientific work includes publications, continuous participations in national and international meetings and teaching experience around the world. Since 2010 he is an active member of the Italian Society of Endodontics and the Italian Society of Microscopic dentistry. He is also a member of Style Italiano study club. He is the inventor of ProTrain®, and has collaborated for several other innovations in dental industry.
Dr. Tonini maintains Private Practice limited to Endodontics for the last five years in Brescia, Italy.

Bioceramic materials are one of the last novelties in Endodontics and they seem extremely interesting products thanks to their chemical and physical properties and to their biocompatibility. They seem also easy to use and adaptable to different clinical scenarios, from the cold obturation with a single cone to the modified warm gutta percha compaction techniques, with a special mention to the bioceramic putty dedicated to the endodontic microsurgery.

The difficulty in the clinical practice is to learn how to manage these materials, how to apply them correctly and how to make the best out of their chemical and physical properties. A dental student or a dentist can reasonably have the doubt to use these new materials or to stick with techniques that have a longer history of success.
