Momiji season in Japan.
Hands-on course by Mitsuhiro Tsukiboshi
Just like spring and its cherry trees, the Japanese fall is also very appreciated. In the period of time happening around late November - early December, the Japanese maple trees (momiji) let their leaves glow red (koyo). They call this time of the year momijigari and the flowering, minutiously followed, attracts many Japanese and foreign tourists in the location where it is the most remarkable, particularly around Kyoto and Nagoya.

The maple trees offer then a magnificent show, sometimes accompanied with yellow colors coming from the ginkgo biloba trees.
